The design of a cart for take-off of the Aero UVic team's unmanned competition aircraft.

A project for the Aero (Unmanned Aircraft) Team at the University of Victoria.

The cart is meant to roll along rough terrain (grass or gravel) while cradling the aircraft by the wings. While the aircraft is generating lift and producing forward velocity, the cart rolls along and the plane eventually lifts off of the cart (rather than directly from the ground).

This design was roughly drawn up and built robustly. It was used for the team's 2014 competition run.
