Worked on assembly iterations and assembly details for upcoming prototype vehicle drive trains.

The drive train prototype assembly drawings and specifications was my main project on the Drive Systems Assembly team at Tesla. The project required a lot of back and forth communication with the prototype team, the manufacturers, the component designers, and the production team. All their input and feedback was taken into account for the final assembly drawings. Each prototype assembly iteration required specific changes to the drawing specs.
After the prototype assembly drawings were completed, they were passed off to the final manufacturing team to be modified as required for mass manufacturing. The drawing and assembly specification project required high level CAD skills, product lifecycle management (PLM), and strong communication skills.
Aside from the assembly drawings, other projects I worked on with the Drive Systems Assembly team include:
>> maintaining a dynamometer test tracker website
>> creating 3D renderings of completed drive train designs
>>conducting mass and center of gravity simulations
